Who We Are
Since 2009...
GraceWay Village has served Treasure Coast residents who struggle with poverty, food scarcity, homelessness, and other tragic needs.
Our Vision
GraceWay Village’s vision is to ease the lives of families in crisis while building a foundation for a healthy, independent, and sustainable life.
Over the past 14 years, more than 27,553 children and teens have been clothed and over 412,487 meals provided to the hungry.
Our Mission
– Feed the hungry
– Provide clothing to children ages infancy to 18 from low-income families
– Conduct workshops designed to improve lives and productivity
What We Do
– Free, hot meals are served four nights a week
– Provide appropriate clothing, underwear, socks, and shoes to children
– Life-enriching educational workshops for clients to improve basic life skills
Family Shelter
Meeting Tomorrow’s Demands for a Temporary Home
GraceWay Village is expanding its initial mandate to those in need. The next stage will provide a Family Shelter. This ‘rapid rehousing,’ and restorative living alternative will provide temporary and safe housing for families and their children facing unexpected, serious upheavals to their lives.
Initially, families will be able to stay between 30 to 90 days depending on their specific circumstances. This flexibility allows sufficient time to recover from the events that had led them to this stage. They also will be assessed by the GraceWay Village professional staff to determine if additional services and an extended stay of up to 18 months are warranted, moving them into restorative care where they can improve skills and form successful habits.
THE GOAL IS FOR THEM TO BECOME SELF-SUFFICIENT, HEALTHY FAMILY UNITS.
“As we begin construction, we also must build another strong foundation: the vital support of those who acknowledge the dire need for a temporary and safe home for those families with young children and who have so little,” explains Chris Morhardt, a faithful GWV supporter. “We ask that everyone join us in this critical, humanitarian commitment. Their first step is to signal their interest by emailing us at info@gracewayvillage.com. “The next step is to keep us in their prayers of support.”
